(Step 1)    FILTER

1. Check to see if the centre is filtered. This means if the firewall is properly configured to protect the FHC from dangerous/inappropriate websites.


2. Open the default browser (usually Chrome)


3. Enter the following into the address bar at the top of the browser: filter.churchofjesuschrist.org


4. You should see a screen with a red background with a restricted notification or a screen with a green tick notification, or a simple white tick.:
   
5. If you see a large White X on a drab blue background this indicated NOT FILTERED status needs to be resolved.
   

The cross implies, either the firewall is not being used properly, meaning the cabling connections are incorrect, or the firewall needs reconfiguring.
